Request sending abroad of degree certificate (Law)

The degree certificate is issued only once, therefore we prefer to hand it over to you in person, either at a degree ceremony or at the Faculty's International Office.

In case you're not able to collect your certifcate yourself or have it picked up by an authorised person, it is possible to have it sent by postal mail. To do so, you must complete this form.

There is only one graduation certificate issued per student, i.e. there is no duplicate available.

The person signing this document is fully responsible for the request of mailing the graduation certificate.

The University of Groningen will not be held responsible in the event the graduation certificate is misplaced during transfer in the mail. The signer of this form will bear sole responsibility.

The University of Groningen will sent the graduation certificate through postal mail free of charge the first time by registered mail; however, should the certificate be returned to the university as undeliverable for any reason, the person to whom the certificate is issued will be responsible for any further costs that are incurred for the return and resending of the document.
